MAC Magically Cool Liquid Powder in Honey Rose

Hey Guys!
I'm so surprised that I haven't done a review on MAC's Magically Cool Liquid Powder in "Honey Rose" yet as it is one of my favourite, if not my favourite, highlight product EVER! I even took pictures for this post back in the summer, meaning to do a review about it, but just never got around to it. I still have "cherylsbeautyblog" as a watermark across the photo. My spot where I take pictures is now overtaken by snow *sigh*. I miss my little rock garden. Anyways, onto the review:

Product Description
"A silky, feather-light powder, formulated with 70% water, dusts on to the skin as a cooling mist to set and enhance the look of any foundation. Beyond sheer; light reflecting and translucent. A virtually invisible way to add luminosity and a soft radiant glow to the skin."

There are three permanent shades available for purchase:

Honey Rose: Sheer rosy beige with multi-dimensional shimmer
Truth & Light: Sheer shimmer that reflects silver and pink
Cajun: Sheer bronze shimmer that reflects gold

Retail: $36.50

Honey Rose

Along with Honey Rose, I also have the shade Truth & Light which I got with the MAC Venomous Villains Collection. The Magically Cool Liquid Powders were first released with the MAC Venomous Villains Collection, but soon became a permanent fixture in the MAC makeup line. Cajun has never appealed to me, but I absolutely love Truth & Light, and especially Honey Rose. The consistency is really odd. Since these are made of 70% water, you can make the product giggle by shaking the container gently from side to side. Upon application, this gives a cooling sensation to the skin, but quickly goes away. It is the weirdest cosmetic product I own, but definitely one of my favourites. I prefer to use my Sigma F15 Duo Fibre Powder/Blush Brush (equivalent to a MAC 131) to do the job. As pictured on the left, I like to apply Honey Rose along my cheekbones, blended back to the hairline and slightly up around the temple. In terms of retail value, this may seem quite pricey, but the product will last you forever as you only need a tiny bit of product to highlight the face. If I had to choose between only owning one of these powders, I would choose Honey Rose hands down. Truth & Light is extremely light and barely shows up on my skin. I like to use Truth & Light when I'm fair, but I can use Honey Rose regardless of my skin tone.
