I love the holiday season because the winter/holiday makeup collections come out and typically have great value sets for a fraction of what it would cost you if you were to buy each item individually. Value sets are a great way to try out different products and discover new makeup you would not have normally bought individually. Anastasia Beverly Hills has released two value sets for this coming holiday season: Want You to Want Me Eye Shadow Palette and Kisses on My List Volume 2 Hydrafull Gloss Set. For this post, I will be reviewing the first of the two value sets: Want You to Want Me Eye Shadow Palette.

Packaging: The packaging is really cute. The products are enclosed in a velvet black casing with gold detailing that resembles a small clutch. Though it is pretty, the velvet casing (like that on the first Urban Decay Naked Palette) gets dirty VERY easily. Once opened, there is a large mirror on the lid and removable eyeshadow palette, liquid liner, brow gel, and eyeshadow brush. I love the presentation of this Holiday set.
Eye Shadows

Included in the Holiday set is another small black velvet casing with gold detailing mimicking the casing of the value set itself. This small square contains a 3x3 eye shadow palette with the following 9 shades: Platform Wedge, Front Row Center, Ziggy, Members Only, Power Ballad, Jellies, Graphic T's, Brass in Pocket, Iron On. All of the eye shadows are well formulated, smooth to the touch and highly pigmented. The variety of colours are excellent and many looks from neutral, to dramatic and smokey can be created. I enjoy that the palette itself is removable and all the colour names are listed on the bottom.

Eye Shadow Brush: There is also a dual ended mini eye shadow and liner brush included in this kit. I love that it includes both a fluffy shader brush to apply all over colour and a more precise, tapered liner end to use each shadow wet and apply as eye liner.
Clear Brow Gel

Also included in the Holiday set is a mini clear brow gel. This is a great clear brow gel that keeps brows in place all day. I like that the packaging isn't see through like my Maybelline Clear Mascara/Brow Gel, and you can't see how tainted the product gets, especially if you apply tinted product to your brows to fill in.

Liquid Eye Liner

The final product included in the Holiday set is a mini black liquid eye liner. This is hands down, the best liquid liner I have EVER used. The brush tip is extremely thin and flexible so that you are able to achieve the thinest line possible with great control and ability to wing liner. I love that you can just flick the wand at the end of the eye to achieve a quick, effortless wing. The formula itself is very wet and intense black which dries fast and doesn't transfer onto the rest of your lid. I haven't been able to find a full-size version of this product available for sale online or else I would be the first to purchase it! I can't say enough good things about this eye liner and I think its a great addition to the value set.
