Tarina Tarantino Dollskin Cheek Palette

Hey Guys!
I was at Sephora this past week and decided on a whim to pick up the Tarina Tarantino Dollskin Cheek Palette. I've never purchased a single product from Tarina Tarantino, but have always been curious about her blushes. Initially I was looking at getting Parasol and Carved Rose, but each blush was $30 each and then I saw the palette with four blushes which was $54 and I was sold.
"I love blush and feel that no makeup look is complete without it. As a makeup artist, I was constantly searching for the perfect range of blush colours to give cheeks a sweet, romantic flush. In the past I had to mix several blushes to create the effect I wanted. Now I have created the perfect collection of complimentary blush shades for every skintone. These highly pigmented formulations mean a little goes a long way while providing a long wearing finish." - Tarina Tarantino

Each of this palette's silky powder blushes imparts skin with a natural glow and true colour payoff that wears all day long. The formula has micronized powders which blend over skin evenly and easily. Buildable colour allows for completely custom coverage for every skin tone. Formulated without parabens.

I absolutely love the packaging. Not only is there a huge mirror inside, the entire casing is mirrored as well. These are definitely my kind of blushes. The swatches don't even do the colours justice. They look much better brushed on the skin for a beautiful sheen. I love my skin dewy and to look like it glows without looking oily or greasy. These give the perfect "glow".

It is important to note that these are not full-size blushes. Each blush is .12 oz as opposed to a full size blush which is .2 oz. The blushers are extremely pigmented so a little product goes a long way. I barely have to tap my blush brush in the product to get plenty of pigmentation for my cheek.

Some people may find that this palette does not offer enough contrast between the colours, but I love pink and peach blush so I am okay with all the colours that are included. Since the colours are so complimentary, you not only can use just one, but combine two or more for your own custom blush hue. I've been loving creating my own blush combo using this palette. I must say, I was a little bummed out that I missed the NARS Danmari palette, but I actually like more of the colours in this palette. The NARS palette I don't like Orgasm that much, so I know I wouldn't use that or Super Orgasm. Also, I HATE Hungry Heart so that would have gone unused. The only colours I was interested in were Casino, Sin, and Desire, but knowing I would only use half the palette is a waste to me. I'm so glad I found this! If you are in the market for new blush, or are a blush lover like myself, definitely check this palette out the next time you are at Sephora! I love love love this palette!
