Review: When it comes to hair dryers, I'm not too picky. I've never had a hair dryer NOT serve it's purpose. The only difference between hair dryers these days is the amount of settings. Typically, I just throw on the highest fan speed and heat setting, flip my hair over and hope the job gets done at a relatively fast pace, then use the cold shot button at the end to seal in the cuticle and cool down the hair. I find newer hair dryers to be much faster at getting the job done, which is a major plus. I've had the Karmin G3 Salon Pro Professional Ionic Hair Dryer for a couple weeks now and I have to say that I like it MORE than the the previous Sedu I've been using, which I reviewed here. On my Sedu, I had to flip a switch to turn on Tourmaline Ceramic which was really annoying because I would accidentally hit the button off during hair drying. With this Karmin model, the ceramic heat technology is built in and doesn't need to be turned on or off. I don't know why you would want the option off because with it on, it is better for your hair in terms of shine, softness and dry time. I have noticed that my hair has considerably more shine and less frizz after using this hair dryer. I also like that this has 3 temperature settings instead of two. I've never used a model with 3 before, 2 has seemed to be the standard. It is nice to go to the middle setting so that I'm not using EXTREME heat or the low setting where it just isn't hot enough. There are a bunch of attachments, and a good 3 year warranty with this model. The price is the same as the Sedu if you buy from Beyas.ca AND the dryer is considerably lighter than my previous model. If you have a lot of hair to dry, you know that you don't want to be holding something bulky and heavy for too long because it gets tiresome and the weight of the Karmin is perfect.

Retail Price: $189.95 CAD on Karmin.ca or $159.95 on Beyas.ca
